Training and Qualifying New Kuwaiti Graduates to Work in the Financial Sector


 
Service Description
This service is offered by Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). It allows qualifying and training a group of fresh graduates to prepare them to work in the economic and financial sector of the Kuwaiti Market. This special thirteen-month program consists of three stages:

  • First Stage: This stage includes several training courses organized at KIA training center with the cooperation of several local and international training institutions and some of the financial institutions with which KIA has business relations. These courses focus on investment, economic, accounting, administration and computer skills
  • Second Stage: This is an on-the-job training stage with reputed international financial institutions in business investment abroad. This stage lasts for three months. The trainees acquire practical experience and necessary critical skills in the investment and financial areas as a result of their exposure to the international financial markets
  • Third Stage: This is an on-the-job training stage in KIA departments for one month. The stage aims to equip the trainees with know-how and experience related to business activities within the local financial institutions

    Eligibility or Criteria
    The applicant must have the Kuwaiti nationality -  
    The applicant must have been graduated from an accredited university no more than two years ago with a degree in one of the following fields:
  • Business Administration
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Information System Management
  • Marketing
  • Insurance
    		•  -  
    The applicant must have been graduated with a minimum GPA of 2.67 or an equivalent -  
    The applicant must be fluent in both English and Arabic written and spoken -  
    The applicant must not be working at any other entity -  
    All applicants must be subjected to tests and interviews set by KIA. Priority in acceptance shall be given to top applicants with respect to their results -
