Applying for License of Pest Control Technician

 

 
Service Description
This service allows the business sector (civil companies and organizations) to make technical tests and medical checks for pest control applicants. -

Eligibility or Criteria
The technician applying for a pest control job at the applicant company must not be younger than (21) years. -  
The applicant technician must not have been convicted in a dishonourable felony or misdemeanour. -  
The company's applicant technician must have one of the following qualifications:
  • University or higher education certificate in pesticides, in addition to two years of experience in pest control .
  • Diploma from a technical institute, in addition to two years of experience in pest control .
  • Intermediate agricultural certificate, in addition to five years of experience in pest control .

    The applicant must apply yearly for license renewal in three-month time before the expiry date of the current license. -

    Required Documents
    License request from the entity the technician is applying for a job at . -  
    Medical fitness certificate from the Occupational Health Section of the Ministry of Health . -  
    Copy from the civil ID, for the applying technician of the applicant company . -  
    Copy from the passport, for the applying technician of the applicant company . -  
    Copy from the technician's educational certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kuwait Embassy at the applicant's country . -  
    Technician's experience certificate indicating the experience period required based on the technician's educational certificate. This experience certificate must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kuwait Embassy at the applicant's country . -  
    Two (2) personal photos (4 × 6) . -

    Procedures
    Visit the Medical Insect and Rodent Control Section - General Health Department - Ministry of Health in Al-Shuwaikh Industrial Area - Block 1- Street 17 - Parcel 77 and submit the required documents
    Pay the fees due. Then, perform the medical check-up at the Occupational Health Section of the Ministry of Health. Then, take the pest and insect control technical test of the competent committee at the Medical Insect and Rodent Control Section - General Health Department - Ministry of Health

    (50) KD

    		 Fixed Fees: First time issuance of pest control technician license valid for two years

    (20) KD

    		 Fixed Fees: Renewal of pest control technician license valid for two years, provided that it must be issued three months before the expiry date of the current license
