Service Description
This service allows citizens to issue Kuwaiti death certificates for deceased persons who died outside Kuwait.

Eligibility or Criteria
The deceased must have the Kuwaiti nationality.

The legal heir of the deceased or the heirs' agent with a power of attorney must attend the procedures.

Required Documents
Original death certificate from the state where the death occurred
.
The certificate must be attested by Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs
.
The certificate must be translated into Arabic, in case the death occurred in a foreign state.

Original civil ID and copy from the deceased's Kuwaiti nationality certificate

Proof of kinship document for the applicant, if the deceased is the mother and the applicant is the son or daughter. The birth certificate must be submitted to prove the state of paternity. Whereas, if the deceased is the wife, the husband must submit the marriage contract to prove the state of marriage.
