Service Description
This service allows non-Kuwaiti and foreign wives to declare their intent to become Kuwaiti citizens for the first time. -

Eligibility or Criteria
For illegal resident applicants, husband and wife must attend the procedures -  
Widows or divorcees must attend the procedures -

Required Documents
Copy of the husband's nationality certificate -  
Passport of the husband -  
Civil ID of the husband -  
For applicants from any nationality: -  
Original passport -  
Copy of passport -  
Civil ID of the wife -  
Recent personal photos (4 × 6 cm) with blue background -  
For applicants from illegal residents: -  
Reference card -  
Birth certificate or age report -  
Copy of the marriage contract -  
Marriage continuity letter from the Ministry of Justice (Riggai or Jahra or Sabahiya) -  
Husband and wife must attend the procedures -  
Birth certificate of the wife, if born in Kuwait -  
Letter of addition from the husband -  
Letter of renouncement from the wife -  
For widows: -  
Death certificate of the husband -  
Determination of heirs -  
Birth certificate of all the children -  
Civil ID -  
Certificate of no marriage from the Ministry of Justice -  
Declaration of no marriage -  
For divorcees: -  
Divorce certificate -  
Birth certificate of all the children -  
Civil ID -  
Certificate of no marriage from the Ministry of Justice -  
Declaration of no marriage -  
In case the applicant applies for the Kuwaiti nationality after the lapse of the specified period: -  
Declaration of intent receipt -  
Letter of exemption from the specified period -  
Four (4) personal photos with blue background -  
Medical report from a governmental hospital in Arabic, in case of no children -
