This service allows the relinquishment of a housing unit, previously allocated to the family, to the Public Authority of Housing Welfare

Eligibility or Criteria

The applicant must not have made a relinquishment previously

Both the applicant and his wife must attend the procedures to get their signatures

An official power of attorney from the wife must be submitted, in case of her absence

The applicant must get the approval of the committee concerned at the Public Authority of Housing Welfare

The relinquishment must be published in Kuwait official paper (Kuwait Al Youm), then posted on the bulletin board of the Citizen Service and the Distribution Departments

The relinquishment must be posted on the bulletin board for 15 days. The earliest request will be chosen to obtain the relinquished housing unit

To whom it may concern certificate, in cases of parcel or house relinquishments

Copy of the civil ID, in cases of parcel or house relinquishments

Beneficial left contract from Saving and Credit Bank, in cases of parcel or house relinquishments

Visit the Distribution and Documentation Department at the Public Authority of Housing Welfare Headquarters and submit the required documents to the employee concerned
