Kuwait IT governance, risks and compliance GRC forum takes off in March 6, 2018 .. Under the auspices of the central agency of information technology

Next March, Kuwait hosts IT GRC forum, under the auspices of the central agency of information technology at JW Marriott hotel, the main sponsor being Kuwaiti Digital Computer Company and CISCO Kuwait. The forum will attract specialists of this field from the government, banking, petroleum, financial auditing and ICT sectors.
“It’s important to have a strong technology for governance, risk management and compliance which would help integrate low-cost practices to manage risks in day-to-day business. In light of the increased awareness of governance, risk management and compliance technology in the Middle-East, we see the leading institutions leaning towards these system to achieve their expectations” said Eng. Qusai Al Shatti, Director-General of the Kuwaiti central agency of information technology (CAIT).
He also added: “governance, risk management and compliance systems create value and reduce costs in addition to an improved risk management. It gives the chance for institutions to automate processes, standardize and organize them and have complete visions of risks, governance and data analysis instantly in addition to improving the decision-making process and its impact on the business”.
Then he clarified “Over two days, the forum will discuss important paths in governance, risk management, compliance and privacy in information technology and information systems. It will host numerous specialists and consultants to enrich the forum content with their papers to further advance the experience and skills of all concerned”.
“The exhibition held in parallel to the forum in Al Jahraa hall, JW Marriott Hotel, will be visited by a number of authority figures, government officials and banking, petroleum, financial audit and ICT sectors. The main sponsors are Kuwaiti Digital Computer Company and CISCO Kuwait as well as other local and international specialized companies”, highlighted Al Shatti Eng. Qusai Al Shatti Director-General of the Kuwaiti central agency of information technology (CAIT) concluded by saying: “CAIT is keen on organizing such specialized activities to highlight all what’s new in ICT in Kuwait”. ​
