members and the UN General Assembly to take immediate and necessary measures
for the protection of Palestinian people.

stresses the necessity for the international community to intervene to provide
protection for our people," Abbas said.

responsible for the lives of the martyrs and the injury of people shot by the
Israeli occupation forces in these popular peaceful demonstrations.
"Our message at the upcoming Arab summit will be clear. It will focus on
upholding national principles for which our people, Arab nation and the free
people across the world have offered sacrifices over the past years," he made
The upholding of the principles aims to establish an independent state with
Jerusalem as its capital and to help refugees return to their homes, in
accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab peace
initiative, he said.
He expressed his pride to the Palestinian people for their sacrifices to
defend Jerusalem city and its Muslim and Christian sanctities.

protests on Friday on the 42nd anniversary of the Land Day.
On March 30, 1976, the Israeli occupation forces killed six unarmed
