Service Description

  • To provide material support to needy students who are unable to afford university tuition fees

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The student is unable to afford university tuition fees - the Need
  • The last General Assessment of the Student should at least be - good
  • The student should not be an employee or receive any scholarships
  • To study in a university acknowledged and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the State of Kuwait
  • The student should be regular and orderly in his/her studies
  • The student shouldn't be a holder of an earlier university degree

Required Documents

  • A letter duly authorized from the University indicating that the student did not settle the fees, and showing the value of tuition fees due for the semester
  • A university transcript for the last semester
  • The approval of the employer that the Student would join the study on a full-time basis
  • A certificate of Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) to prove that the Kuwaiti is not currently employed
  • A certificate from the Ministry of Social Affairs affirming that the student did not receive any grants
  • A certificate authority for Minors Affairs with regard to the widow who is the supporter of the student
  • An Account Statement of the breadwinner or the Student for the last 6 months
  • A letter issued by the Ministry of Higher Education indicating University approval and specialization
  • The civil cards for all family members
  • Evidence of current social status
  • The income sources of the family
  • The Lease Contract, if any
  • The Family Financial Obligations, if any

Procedures

Proceed in person to Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation
Submit all required paperwork on time
