Service Description

  • Equivalency for Secondary Education Certificates from any Arab or Gulf Country for the Purpose of Studying in Kuwait.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Original certificate (Transcript) for which an equivalency is required authenticated by official entities (Ministry of Education in the country by which the certificate is issued - Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country by which the certificate is issued - Kuwait Embassy), with the exception of certificates issued by GCC countries where only authenticating the certificate by the school and educational zone to which the student refers is required
  • Double sided copy of the certificate authenticated by the cultural attaché
  • Two original certificates of two previous grades (Transcript) authenticated by the previously mentioned entities and double-sided copies of them, with the exception of certificates issued by GCC countries where only a certificate of only one term authenticated by the school and educational zone to which the student refers is required
  • Studying for Secondary Education certificates can't be through home schooling, distance learning, or inclusion systems. These systems are not approved and invalid according to the ministerial decrees issued by Ministry of Education, with the exception of home schooling in GCC countries where these certificates are valid and approved , unless issued by private night schools
  • The most important condition is the availability of the correct study sequence for obtaining Secondary Education certificate from any Arab or Gulf country. After meeting all criteria and fulfilling all requirements, an equivalent certificate is obtained and approved while inquiring about the validity of the data of the certificate for which an equivalency is required

  • Two original certificates of two previous grades and copies of them from an Arab country
  • Certificate of a previous grade from GCC countries

Procedures

Visit Private Education Department, Certificate Equivalency Section and submit the required documents
