Service Description

  • This service allows the issuance of licenses for new vehicles imported by embassies, pursuant to the Traffic Law Articles and Provisions, Executive Regulation No. (67/76), and Amendments thereof

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The vehicle must be new
  • The vehicle must pass the technical check
  • The vehicle insurance must be a comprehensive coverage and third party insurance

Required Documents

  • Customs certificate
  • Letter from the embassy approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Valid comprehensive coverage and third party insurance

Procedures

Visit the General Traffic Department in the governorate you refer to and submit the required documents.
