Service Description

  • This service allows Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti applicants to issue public driving licenses, pursuant to the Traffic Law Articles and Provisions, Executive Regulation No. (67/76), and Amendments thereof.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant must submit a public vehicle license in the sponsor's name, if the applicant is not a Kuwaiti citizen

Required Documents

  • Kuwaiti private driving license -
  • Valid public driving license issued from the applicant's home country
  • Public vehicle license in the sponsor's name
  • Blood type certificate

Procedures

Visit the General Traffic Department in the governorate you refer to and submit the required documents
Fill the service application form
Have the medical check-up
Pay the fees due
