Application for License/Renewal of License for Trader of Fire Fighting Equipment/Fire Alarms/Fire Resistant Materials

Service Description

  • This service allows citizens and business sector including traders of fire fighting equipment, fire alarms, and fire resistant materials to issue or renew a trader license

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant must submit samples of the equipment, apparatus, and materials to be approved, as recommended by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate

Required Documents

  • Official letter addressed to the General Manager of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate with the following documents, as per the established administrative conditions
  • Copy of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry license
  • Copy of the commercial register enrolment
  • Certificate of registration with Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Copy of the articles of incorporation and the amendment contract for the company stating the partners' names and the capital
  • Copy of the agency agreement with the manufacturing company signed in the country of origin and attested by Kuwait embassy
  • Copy of the agency registration certificate with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry
  • According to the established technical conditions, the following documents must be submitted
  • The technical catalogs of the equipment and apparatus to be approved
  • Document stating the model of the equipment, apparatus, and materials to be approved
  • Inspection certificates from approved labs or registration document with international bodies approved by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate

Visit the Merchants and Contractors of Fire Equipments and Engineering Section - Commercial Licenses Supervision - License Department of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate and submit the required documents
