Service Description

  • This service allows citizens, residents, visitors, business sector (companies and organizations) and the Government Sector, from inside and outside the State of Kuwait, to conduct chemical analysis of different types of material, like water, food, edible oil, soil, sediment, metals, agriculture and environmental samples etc., for different parameters.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Samples should be properly preserved to avoid any deterioration during transportation. The Central Analytical Laboratory (CAL) is not responsible for samples which are not properly preserved.
  • Payment should be made in advance, in cash/cheque to the Finance Department of Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR)

Required Documents

  • Official letter from applicant client, requesting the required analysis.

Procedures

Fill the eService form,
The Central Analytical Laboratory (CAL) provides “service quotation” to client through e-mail or phone and discuss further details (if required).
Submit the official letter and samples to the Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Section of the Central Analytical Laboratory (CAL), at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research in Shuwaikh.
Pay the fees due to the Finance Department of KISR (cash/cheque).
Submit a copy of payment receipt at the Central Analytical Laboratory
When the required analysis completes, CAL office informs the client by phone.
Collect the analysis report from the Central Analytical Laboratory (CAL) office during the official working hours (Sunday to Thursday, from 08:30 AM to 02:30 PM).
Note 1: Samples are kept for 2 weeks for any re-testing if required.
Note 2: Any clarification should be made with within two week after receiving the results.
