Service Description

  • This service allows citizens and business sector (organizations and companies) to issue advertisement license for store facades and light boxes (commercial advertisement)

Eligibility or Criteria

  • All required documents must be valid and submitted

Required Documents

  • Written request from the applicant
  • Copy of the commercial license
  • Approval from the trademark owner, on adding a trademark to the commercial advertisement
  • Commercial register certificate from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, if the advertisement includes a store-specific logo or trademark
  • Plan stating advertisement specifications, manufacturing material, and means of installation

Procedures

Visit the Permits for Municipal Services Department of Kuwait Municipality branch in the governorate concerned with the service and submit the required documents
Submit a license request to the Advertisement License Section and a photograph of the required advertisement. The request is, then, checked by the employee in charge
Receive the service receipt. The advertisement installed on a truck is checked by the inspectors of the Advertisement License Section to ensure its conformity to the terms and conditions
You will be contacted at the specified date
After determining the required fees and insurance at the Advertisement License Section, pay the fees due at the cashier's counter
Receive the advertisement license, after being issued and printed

Fees

Unspecified Variable fees: Financial insurance equals half the advertisement fees
(5) KD Fixed fees: Per square meter for each side of the investment
