Service Description

  • This service allows the vessel owners to change the vessel name as they will, by an official letter for the Transportation Sector in the Maritime Department

  • Letter from the vessel owner to change the vessel name
  • Proof of ownership and other certificates related to the service

Visit the Transportation Sector
Submit the letter to request changing the vessel name
Pay the fees

Fees

(0) KD Variable fees
(10) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 600-tonne cargo
(25) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 600 to 1600-tonne cargo
(30) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 1600 to 3000-tonne cargo
(40) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 3000 to 5000-tonne cargo
(50) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 5000 to 8000-tonne cargo
(60) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 8000 to 10000-tonne cargo
(70) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 10000 to 15000-tonne cargo
(80) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 15000 to 20000-tonne cargo
(90) KD Fixed fees: For a vessel that doesn't exceed 20000-tonne cargo
