Service Description

  • It is a service where wireless devices are used to start friendships and acquire knowledge and culture among several countries. The use of these devices is within certain frequency ranges allocated for this service

Eligibility or Criteria

  • There are no conditions

Required Documents

  • A filled form for using wireless devices
  • Copy of Civil ID
  • Copy of the foreigner's passport
  • A catalog of the device to be used
  • Serial numbers of the devices
  • Copy of the foreign Amateur's license

Procedures

Refer to the Department and submit a letter requesting the use of wireless devices
Submit all required documents to be checked by the assigned employee
Write to the Kuwaiti Society for Wireless Amateurs to obtain the technical and information approval
Write to the Ministry of Interior to approve the subject regarding security
Pay the fees

(0) KD Variable fees
(10) KD Fixed fees: For 2 years
