Service Description

  • A certificate of competency issued for Kuwaiti officers, maritime engineers, and radio officers working on Kuwaiti vessels. This certificate is for Kuwaitis only

Eligibility or Criteria

  • There are no conditions

Required Documents

  • Copy of Civil ID
  • Copy of the highest maritime qualification
  • Letter of nomination from the employer

Procedures

Submit an official letter to the secretary assistant of the Transportation Sector to get the competency certificate
The letter is transferred to the Maritime Department, Seamen Affairs Section, to receive the required documents and proceed with the transaction
Pay the fees
Receive the competency certificate following the completion of required documents
