Service Description

  • This service is designed to register a maritime agency for first time in the Sector. A file is compiled for each agent including all required documents according to Maritime Trade Law no. 28 of 1980 and Ministry's decree no. 80/282

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Unrequired

Required Documents

  • Company/Agency to be registered
  • Registration in Chamber of Commerce
  • Registration in Commercial Register
  • Memorandum of association and authorized signatories approval
  • Agency contract attested by the owner
  • Deposit of 60,000 KD. as a security with the bank

Procedures

Apply for maritime agency and Ministry of Trade's approval
Submit all the required documents

Fees

(0) KD Variable fees
(50) KD Fixed fees: For first-time registration of agency
(25) KD Fixed fees: For annual-renewal of agency
