"Social welfare department was established to serve the obligation of Zakat and achieve many other goals including; attaining social development and interdependence. That would be accomplished by spending Zakat revenues on families in need that reside in Kuwait under administrative provisions and systems that are based on the Islamic Sharia. Moreover, in order for the department to carry out its message of good will in an easier and a more accurate way; it has approved the process of applying requests via the internet, where it can study the requests online, ensure that they match the provision and make the right decision about them".
