Service Description

  • ​This service allows the registration of a newborn child for citizens of the GCC countries.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Attendance of the guardian or their representative with an official power of attorney from the Ministry of Justice

Required Documents

  • For Births within Kuwait:
  • Original birth certificate and a copy of it.
  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months and a copy.
  • Blood Type.
  • Recent port-entry certificate for those who have reached one year of age and have not yet obtained a civil ID card.
  • For Births outside Kuwait:
  • Original birth certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Original valid passport and a copy of it.
  • Copies of the parents' civil ID cards along with the employment details of one of them.
  • Blood Type.
  • Recent port-entry certificate.

Procedures

​Visit the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) headquarters in South Surra – First Floor – Citizens and GCC Registration Office – Morning Shift – from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.​
