Civil ID Renewal for Gulf Cooperation Council Citizens

Service Description

  • ​ This service allows Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens officially residing in Kuwait to renew their civil ID cards   

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Renewal of Civil Id cards through the e-services available on the Authority's website www.paci.gov.kw
  • ​This applies to Gulf nationals (whose mother or wife is Kuwaiti, who work in Kuwait, are enrolled in a school, university, or institute in Kuwait, or own a commercial license or property).​

Required Documents

  • Original valid passport and a copy of it, with a validity period of at least 6 months.
  • Two recent personal photos that meet specifications (for each individual aged 5 years and above).
  • Fingerprints for those aged 18 and above.
  • Complete and certified employment acknowledgment from the employer + copy of signature verification (for private sector employees.).
  • Certificate of Continued Employment from the governmental work entity.
  • Copy of the Commercial License for Employers
  • Recent port-entry certificate confirming 3 months of presence in Kuwait.
  • To whom it may concern certificate from the educational entity.
  • Blood Type.
  • Copy of signature approval for private sector employees.

Procedures

​Visit the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) headquarters in South Surra – First Floor – Citizens and GCC Registration Office – Morning Shift – from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.​
