Service Description

  • This service allows non-Kuwaiti expatriates to renew their civil ID cards

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Applicants must visit the Public Authority of Civil Information Headquarters, Zahra, Checkers' Building, ground floor, Reception Hall to receive the new card

Required Documents

  • Old civil ID

Procedures

You can perform this service over the phone or online:
First: Over the Phone
Dial 889988
Choose (1) for Arabic and (2) for English
Choose the service number (1) from the voice list
Enter your civil ID number and wait till your request is processed
Second: Online
Go to Civil ID Renewal link on the website of the Public Authority for Civil Information (http://www.e.gov.kw/PACI_en/Pages/EServices/CivilIDRenewal.aspx)
Enter your civil ID number, then follow the instructions
Receive your new card at the Public Authority of Civil Information Headquarters, Zahra, Checkers' Building, ground floor, Reception Hall. Pay the card acquisition fees

5 KD Fixed fees: smart card acquisition fees
2 KD Fixed fees: Plastic card for domestic staff acquisition fees
